Virginia Opera brings the beloved story of The Three Little Pigs to life in a delightful operatic adventure featuring music by Mozart and adapted by John Davies.
When two pigs build houses of straw and sticks, their clever sister heads to the library to learn how to build a strong brick home. When the Big Bad Wolf comes huffing and puffing, the pigs discover that knowledge, preparation, and a love of reading can be their greatest strengths.
Filled with humor, memorable music, and valuable lessons about literacy and problem-solving, this engaging production is the perfect introduction to opera for young audiences.
The Three Little Pigs is ideal for children in grades Pre-K-5, but it is excellent for all ages.
The Three Little Pigs will travel throughout Virginia in September through November 2026. Secure your performance today! For pricing, scheduling, and for answers to any questions, please contact education@vaopera.org.
