Tunes & Tales! brings the art of storytelling through words and music to everyone! 

Join us on an enchanting journey into the world of children’s literature and music where colorful characters and stories come to life with new and familiar tunes from opera and beyond. Perfect for children and adults alike, your whole family will be delighted by this interactive program!

Amidst the fun of new adventures and the discovery of musical terms through our singing artists, children are given a unique opportunity to strengthen literacy and social skills through the art of opera.

Tunes & Tales! is a 30-minute interactive program performed by two singers accompanied by pre-recorded musical tracks or keyboard. It’s built to travel anywhere!

This program is best suited for children aged 4-8. Please contact education@vaopera.org for pricing and to schedule a performance. Reduced-price and free performances available in select areas. Bookings are available year-round, dependent on artist availability.
