Explore Civil War spy stories at Library of Virginia’s ‘Intelligence’ event

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Library of Virginia and Virginia Opera will be presenting a discussion panel and performance of “Intelligence.”

On Jan. 26, the Library of Virginia and Virginia Opera announced that there will be a free panel discussion and a live performance about the Civil War era espionage stories that inspired the opera, “Intelligence.”

This event, “Decoding ‘Intelligence’: The Real-Life Spy Network Behind the Opera,” will be at the lecture hall in the Library of Virginia, located at 800 E Broad St, on Wednesday, Feb. 4, from 6 to 7:15 p.m.
