Bass/Baritone Conner Grieff is making his mainstage debut with Virginia Opera as Marchese d’Obigny (La Traviata). He has also appeared as a member of the chorus in Samson et Dalila and The Pirates of Penzance. Previous roles include Bob (The Old Maid and the Thief), Frank (Der Schauspieldirektor), King Balthazar as well as The Page (Amahl and the Night Visitors), Littore (L’incoronazione di Poppea), and cover for Belcore (L’Elisir d’Amore). In addition to opera, Mr. Grieff performs regularly as a professional member of the Virginia Symphony Orchestra Chorus. Mr. Grieff can be seen performing throughout the community as a member of Virginia Opera’s Local Voices Roster. Hampton Roads native, Mr. Grieff holds a BM in vocal performance from Christopher Newport University.
