Puccini’s female characters sure had a thing for questionable men and sharp knives…Following last season’s sold-out and critically acclaimed production of Madama Butterfly, the king of operatic tragedy introduces us to the opera diva Tosca, her artist lover, and a very corrupt chief of police. Rome on the verge of military invasion is the scene, and Tosca the tale of a lethal love triangle that leaves no one standing, and all the low and high notes along the way.
