Town Point Park is the People's Park, providing eight acres of peaceful outdoor spaces, nestled on the riverbanks of the Elizabeth River and located in the heart of the business district in Downtown Norfolk, Virginia.

Accessibility: Town Point Park is fully accessible to individuals with disabilities. All Norfolk Festevents programs are accessible to persons with disabilities, with accessible parking available at all city-parking garages. In Town Point Park, wheelchair-accessible restrooms are located near the Spirit of Norfolk. Individuals requesting special accommodations for events are asked to call the Norfolk Festevents office at 757.441.2345. Special seating accommodations can be requested the day of an event from any event security officer or uniformed staff member.
Photography and Videotaping: Festivals and events are photographed and videotaped for future promotional use by professionals employed by Norfolk Festevents who are easily identified by staff credentials. Festivals and events are also photographed and taped by the news media for television and newspaper coverage and are identified by their press credentials.
Festival Boater Packages and park-side docking: Navigate the waterways to Town Point Park in Downtown Norfolk, Virginia, Mile Marker Zero on the Intracoastal Waterway. Docking is available along the park sea wall with advanced reservation for most events. Food and Beverage: Food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages at selected events, are available for purchase at most events. Glass bottles and alcoholic beverages may not be brought into the park at any time. Patrons must be at least 21 years of age with a valid photo ID to purchase and/or consume alcoholic beverages.
Lost and Found: Festival attendees can check for lost items with event security or call Norfolk Festevents during business hours, 9 am - 5pm, Monday through Friday. Lost persons should report to security at all events. No public address announcements regarding lost persons or items will be made during events.
Restrooms: Portable restrooms, including accessible units for physically impaired, are conveniently located within the park during special events.
Recycling: Norfolk Festevents and the City of Norfolk encourage all patrons to recycle cans, plastic bottles, and paper in the appropriate containers located throughout the park during events.
Dogwood Dell is a 2,400 seat amphitheatre owned and operated by the Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Facilities and located at 6000 S. Blvd., Richmond, VA 23220 in Byrd Park.
Since 1956, it has been home to the Festival of Arts; a summer long celebration of the arts featuring art exhibits, concerts, dance and theatre. In addition to these events, the Festival of Arts also incorporates a children's series with performances at our Ha' Penny stage.
The Dogwood Dell does not cancel performances until show time (unless drastic weather conditions exist). Patrons can listen to WRVA for Dell cancellations.
Parking is available at Dogwood Dell and is open to the public.
Regulations: Alcoholic beverages and glass containers are prohibited. Animals are restricted unless for service purposes. Smoking and cell phone usage are restricted to areas outside the Dell seating area. Exit the park immediately following late night performances. Loitering in the amphitheater and surrounding areas is prohibited. Licensed vending is permitted within restricted areas if approved by the City. Public protests, and/or offensive displays are not permitted.
